The Isbells...
We are Patrick, Lacy, Gavin, and Chloe. Rooted in our Faith and driven by our desire to bring people together, our goal is to use this platform to glorify God, serve and add value to everyone associated with our business, and to enrich the lives of the people closest to us. Our passion isn't to sell you a piece of clothing. While that is the ultimate goal, we believe there's more value in building a relationship that promotes community than just a simple transaction. Our hope is that you experience that every time you step into one of our stores.
From the Beginning...
In the Summer of 2022, an idea was given a chance by a local boutique. An idea to bring a premium men's boutique to our hometown of Trussville, AL. Eighteen South was inspired by the pro shops at some of our favorite golf destinations like Sea Island, Pinehurst, Doral, & Scottsdale. We wanted to bring that same elevated style to everyone. We carefully curated a list of brands that represented our vision and three months later, with no relevant experience, we were in business! Humble beginnings led us to rely on help from friends and family, but that proved to be the formula that allowed us to get off the ground. To this day, we are humbled and thankful for everyone that helped us from the start.
Fast forward to 2025 and the opportunity to add our 2nd location in the nearby community of Homewood presented itself. We quickly jumped at the chance to grow our reach to a new audience. This time, with a little better playbook, we have been able to see more of our vision come to life.
The Name...
While we aren't exclusively a store for golfers, the name references where the idea came from....eighteen holes in a round of golf. Being born and raised in Alabama, "South" was the perfect addition to the name. The tagline is simple and to the point.
